The openings will consist of 400 Dollar Tree Stores and 200 Family Dollar Stores.
The new Family Dollar Stores will be comprised of both combination stores and “H2” stores which feature improved merchandise offerings such as the Dollar Tree $1 section and more freezer and cooler doors. The combination store format was first deployed in 2019 and combines the Dollar Tree and Family Dollar brands under one roof.

As I have said in the past, we will continue to refine our strategic store formats so that we are able to better serve customers, whilst improving store productivity, margins and returns.”
The move to expand comes following Dollar Tree’s impressive results which saw net sales increase by 8 per cent to $25.51bn.
