The brand is set to open a new physical store in Whampoa Garden, Hong Kong on Wednesday 17 August.
According to an official announcement made by the company, the Japanese supermarket chain will open at 10am on 17 August and will feature a vintage theme that resembles a traditional Japanese shopping street dated between the 1920s and 1980s.
This store will be the brand’s first outlet in the city that will feature Wagyu beef skewers teppanyaki and a speciality store where customers can purchase tailored dishes for their takeaway bento boxes. The new Whampoa Garden store will feature Sen Sen Sushi, Don Don Donki’s sushi restaurant brand, as well as Yasuda Seimai, the brand’s specialty onigiri shop.
The new outlet adds to the brand’s growing portfolio in Hong Kong which currently consists of nine stores. Pan Pacific International Holdings, the brand’s parent company will continue to “pioneer new distribution strategies to drive its international competitiveness while rapidly expanding its Hong Kong store base.”
