Dubai Safari Park Set to Reopen its Doors

The Park will offer a number of new activities that have been designed and implemented to enrich the guest experiences.

Set to welcome visitors from October 5 following a period of renovation and redevelopment, the Dubai Safari Park provides a safe home to around 3000 mammals, birds, amphibians and invertebrates in the huge 119 hectares of landscape. A number of new activities such as feeding the animals, educational and awareness programmes and seasonal events have been added to enrich the visitor experience by creating an opportunity for interaction with the animals.

As part of the renovation, a number of new animals such as African elephants and giraffes, the Komodo dragon, spiral-horned antelope, Arabian Oryx, coloured African wild dog, gorilla, gibbon, bongo and lemur have been housed at the park.

“As the momentum of recovery in the tourism market gathers pace, Dubai Safari provides an exciting attraction for both international visitors and residents. The redesigned Dubai Safari has many unique interactive programmes blended into the safari journey that provides visitors with a unique and memorable experience. Not only can they see different types of animals from across the world, but they can also enjoy activities, performances and shows that entertain as well as educate.” commented Dawoud Al Hajri, Director-General of Dubai Municipality.
