Global Village is back with “season 27” which will open on 25 October this year, organisers of the family destination said in an announcement on Thursday. The venue will feature 27 pavilions as an ode to the season, and will also see the presence of two new pavilions – Qatar and Oman.

The other country pavilions include, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Africa, Americas, China, Egypt, Europe, India, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Yemen and Russia. Each of these pavilions will offer visitors arts and crafts, national foods, entertainment and products from the country or region.

“Global Village has been a regional and international phenomenon for over two decades, helping cement Dubai as a global hub for entertainment and tourism,” Dubai Holding Entertainment’s Chief Operating Officer Mohamed Sharaf said.

“The Al Sana’a and Khalifa Foundation pavilions will also be returning with local entrepreneurs taking advantage of the Global Village platform to grow their businesses, allowing guests to be amongst the first to discover the latest products,” the organisers said in a statement.
