The Vancouver-based performance apparel brand is opening a second US outpost in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles this September.
The new store will occupy a space of 1,850sq ft and the space will combine experiential and sensory elements including plants, trees and wood chips that will signify the natural and sustainable materials that make up as much as 95 per cent of Duer’s garments.
Duer opened its first store in 2016 in Vancouver and since then has opened an additional three Canadian locations. The brand debuted in the US last year in Denver and similar to the brand’s existing Canadian stores, the Denver store offers customers a chance to test the active wear on a stationary bike, monkey bar and swings.
“Opening a dedicated storefront in Los Angeles has always been the plan, it was just a matter of when. For a few reasons, the most significant being our e-commerce and wholesale businesses showcasing a built-in fan base and demand in the LA area, our greatest opportunity for growth in this region is now,” commented Gary Lenett, Co-Founder of Duer.
