Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth is the ultimate destination for all the family this Easter, with a whole host of fun activities for all ages, including an exciting free climbing wall experience.
From Monday 10th April to Friday 14th April, a huge 26ft climbing wall will rock up at Southside Shopping Centre, outside on the piazza, next to Black Sheep Coffee. Open from 11am – 4pm, kids and big kids alike are invited to try their hand at scaling the climbing wall for free.
The event will be managed and overseen by experienced instructors during the day and climbers will descend with a slow and steady belay once they reach its summit. The minimum age for children to participate in the free climbing activity is age 5.
Guests are encouraged to come and take part in climbing activities in return for making a small donation, with all proceeds from the event going to Beyond Autism, a local charity in London which ensures autistic children and young adults access an education which empowers a life full of choice, independence and opportunity.
The event is in partnership with Parthian Climbing which will be opening a state-of-the-art climbing experience at Southside Shopping Centre in the summer. Offering bouldering, auto-belays and roped climbing, the new destination will be designed for all levels, from families to climbing enthusiasts.
