Embassy Gardens Extends Retail Offering

Embassy Gardens, the landmark development in Nine Elms, has announced eight new businesses to its enviable lifestyle offering and growing reputation as a social and cultural hub.

This takes the development’s commercial space to 96 per cent occupied, with 24 businesses in place across 77,000sq ft of units, and the final unit of 4,936sq ft currently under offer. Wrapped around the iconic US Embassy building, and just moments from central London, the vibrant new neighbourhood has welcomed: UN1T Fitness Studio, Mouth Dental Clinic, Remedi Wellness Clinic, Ten Health and Fitness, Astounding Interiors Desgin Studio, Furmily Pet Store, Evernight Restaurant and World Heart Beat Music Academy.

Spanning over 8ha, and with over 1,500 new homes, Embassy Gardens is rapidly becoming a well-known leisure destination. Recent research by Savills identified that now, more than ever before, people are seeking a home that is in close proximity to restaurants, culture and leisure facilities; over 60 per cent of residents have moved to Nine Elms to benefit from its lifestyle offerings compared to an average of 30 per cent across London.

While Embassy Gardens already has a widely recognised roster of bars and restaurants, the development is also attracting premium health and wellbeing brands; the arrival of fitness hubs, wellbeing clinics and medical centres show this is a particular area of growth. These new retailers at Embassy Gardens, desired for its Zone 1 location, thriving community and ‘15-minute city’ concept join chef Robin Gill’s Darby’s restaurant, Oxeye, the restaurant by chef/owner Sven-Hanson Britt, Aussie-inspired artisan cafe District, cocktail bar The Alchemist, Irish bar Homeboy, and men’s grooming hub Neon Black. Publishing giant Penguin Random House has also relocated to One Embassy Gardens, the development’s prime office space.
