The multi-awarded family-owned luxury resort in the Indian Ocean is expanding its two-bedroom Family Beach Villas with Pool accommodations from ten to twenty units in 2022.
The expansion of these accommodations comes in response to the increasing demand coming from family travellers around the world. This summer, Emerald will also launch a menu of new activities for tiny travellers, from tailored treatments at the tranquil Emerald SPA and playful private yoga sessions in Dolphin Kids’ Club, to lessons in Italian cuisine with the island’s Head Chef.
“Since we opened our property in 2019, the number of families staying with us has constantly increased despite the pandemic, and now accounts for over 50 per cent of the bookings. We’re the families’ favourite Maldivian resort.” says Simone Scarapicchia, Chief Commercial Officer of Emerald Collection. “All of our accommodations are suitable for two adults and two children, but our clientele expressed particular interest in the Family Beach Villas with Pool. This is why we are working on doubling the number of Family Beach Villas with Pool from ten to twenty units, and launching new bespoke experiences for our youngest guests” adds Scarapicchia.
