Ennismore Expands Footprint in Italy with 25Hours Hotel to Open in Trieste

The 160-room hotel property, opening in 2025, will be the harbour city’s first lifestyle hotel offering.

Ennismore has entered exclusive negotiations with KNSA Hospitality and P.V.V. Investments to open a 25Hours Hotel in the culturally rich harbour of Trieste, influenced by south and central Europe and the east. The partnership, which has strong support from the Trieste authorities, will come as the city’s first lifestyle hotel, offering a unique and authentic destination for locals and international visitors.

25hours Trieste is set to open in 2025 following extensive renovations, which have begun on the façade of the building. The development will also be home to luxury residences and a variety of small local stores on the ground floor.

The hotel – like all 25hours Hotels – will be individual and made-to-measure. Each 25hours Hotel has a soul inspired by its location and is shaped by its surroundings’ art, culture, gastronomy, and stories. 25hours Trieste will be the brand’s second hotel in Italy, following the opening of Florence in 2021. 25hours currently has 14 operating hotels across Europe and the Middle East, with 4 in the pipeline, including Copenhagen opening later in 2022.

Cédric Gobilliard, Brand COO of Ennismore said: “We’re so excited that 25hours will bring a fresh hospitality approach to Trieste. With its rich culture and history, Trieste will serve as the perfect location for one of our uniquely designed 25hours Hotels, which will take its inspiration from the history of the city as gateway to the world. The lifestyle segment of the hospitality industry is seeing strong growth and is bouncing back quicker, thanks to its strong F&B offering.”
