The announcement of the re-opening of Vox Cinemas and Magic Planet in RAK and Sharjah follows the re-launch of MAF facilities in Saudi Arabia earlier this week.
A number of leisure, entertainment and cinema venues in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah are set to be re-opened by UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim. Through a statement, the company highlighted that the Vox Cinemas location at Al Hamra Mall in RAK opened yesterday, whilst Magic Planet and Vox Cinemas at City Centre Sharjah will once again open their doors today.
As part of the openings, both Vox Cinemas and Magic Planet have implemented strict health protocols. For example, in the cinema auditoriums, seats in front of, behind and next to a guest’s selection will be kept free while at Magic Planet every second seat will be left empty on rides and machines. “Our team have been relentlessly planning and preparing to welcome back guests and we have introduced innovative new health and safety measures which have been successfully implemented across our entertainment experiences in Dubai,” said Cameron Mitchell, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment.
