The vegan restaurant will opens its third UK outpost at the St James Development in Edinburgh in late June.
The restaurant will open in the highly-anticipated Bonnie & Wild’s Scottish Marketplace, which is hailed as Edinburgh’s first foot hall. First announced last year, Bonnie & Wild’s Scottish Marketplace has already been described as ‘the largest single F&B site in Scotland’ and will contain three bars, eight food stalls and four speciality retailers.
Erpingham House was founded by Loui Blake and footballers Declan Rudd and Russell Martin in 2018 with a first site launched in Norwich. Last year, a second restaurant was opened on Brighton’s Duke Street following a private funding round of £250,000. The restaurant, bar and café concept follows the mantra of ‘eat plants and be kind’. The brand prides itself on being free from single-use plastics and combats carbon emissions by planting trees.
As with the previous two Erpingham House restaurants, the new Edinburgh site will serve a 100 per cent plant-based menu with a strong focus on modern, vegan cuisine which has been thought up by Group Head Chef, Meg Greenacre.
