After 12 years without openings, nk Store is following through on an expansion plan which has now seen it open its third store in six months.
The brand has arrived at Shopping Iguatemi, in São Paulo, with a space with striking architecture and focal points in the experience fitting rooms, in addition to its own brand and mix of renowned international brands.
With an innovative design, the 380m2 store features galleries marked by large columns, a mention of the great São Paulo architects who were so important in the history of urbanism in the city.
“The project to expand nk into stores for each capital in the country started from an idea by RESEXTENSA; of a construction of infinite spatiality of changing rooms permeated by store circulation (where we find ad-infinitum racks and shelves). In São Paulo, the project was reinforced by a colonnade that borders these fitting rooms, making room for the mall’s escalators and corridors; this detail reinforces the energy of an urban gallery, the original concept of the building, which is still very present in the Iguatemi shopping centre in Faria Lima”, comments Aldo Urbinati, Partner at Estúdio Tupi.
