Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion has officially closed following its premiere, which welcomed more than 100,000 visitors from January to April.
The premiere, which ended on April 10, impressed visitors who commented on the health and safety at the site. Terra guests were also treated to the Expo Rider service, a free bus service that transports visitors between the Dubai Mall and Expo 2020.
Most impressively, Expo 2020 Dubai has revealed that 96 per cent of guests are motivated to save water or use less plastic after vising the Terra stand. This result is exceptional for Dubai Expo 2020 who wanted visitors to consider the impact of their actions on the environment when planning the Terra stand.
Marjan Faraidooni, Chief Executive Officer of Expo 2020 Dubai, commented: “As we continue to navigate this period of unprecedented change, we are delighted to have offered the UAE community the chance to preview the Sustainability Pavilion, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to bringing the world together and finding answer to our most pressing challenges.”
