Expo 2020 Dubai Visitor Numbers Pass 10 Million

Organisers of the event have commented that visitor numbers have passed the 10 million mark as the mega event hosts the first Global Goals Week to be hold outside of New York.

The number of total registered visitors is now 10,188,769 which organisers of the event are attributing to a star-studded K-pop concert and the confidence in the event’s robust safety measures against the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Health and safety remains a priority with stringent rules in place across the entire site.

Visitors aged 18 and over must show proof of their vaccination status or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. On-site measures include wearing a mask both indoors and outdoors and PCR testing facilities for country pavilion staff, frontline workers and entertainers.

Expo 2020 Dubai’s virtual visitation has also passed the 65 million mark which has been driven by a range of entertainment available through the Live@Expo including performances by Korea’s top K-pop stars and Academy and Grammy Award Winner AR Rahman.
