Lebanese ice cream shop Bachir has entered the Dubai F&B market with an ice cream cart at Zaroob’s branch on Sheikh Zayed Road. There are plans to expand across the country.
Commenting on the collaboration, Elie Saade, brand manager at Zaroob, said: “We are extremely delighted to be collaborating with Lebanon’s most iconic ice cream brand and we hope to reinforce Zaroob’s authenticity when it comes to Levantine street food with this partnership.”
Bachir has also announced three permanent locations across the UAE; in Sharjah’s Al Jada opening at end of October, with branches at City Walk and Galleria Mall Al Barsha following in November.
Bachir Ice Cream was first founded by brothers Maurice and Edward Bachir in 1936. Today, 86 years later, the legacy was passed on for generations and expanded from Lebanon to France and Brazil followed by the UAE.
