Fashionphile Opens Huge Showroom in the Big Apple

Fashionphile is promising the world’s largest collection of Hermès Birkin bags at its new location in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighbourhood.

The luxury handbag and accessories resale platform’s new 60,000sq ft authentication centre and showroom is designed as a destination where consumers can shop, sell and witness the inner workings of a resale company. The assortment features pre-owned accessories from brands that include Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Prada, Cartier and Patek Philippe. Visitors can also get an inside look into how the company authenticates and processes the items they see online.

The space houses the company’s operations, including authentication, shipping and receiving, warehousing and a photo studio. A high-security, climate-controlled storage area, called “The Cage,” houses up to 15,000 luxury handbags and accessories at any given time, including the largest collection of Hermès Birkin bags in the world. The space also has eight procurement offices where customers can sell their items to Fashionphile.

Located in the iconic Starrett-Lehigh building, the operations centre and showroom is double the size of the reseller’s headquarters in Carlsbad, California.

It also marks Fashionphile’s first corporate presence in New York City. (The company also has a showroom on Madison Avenue.) Fashionphile also operates a 105,000sq ft distribution centre in Moonachie, New Jersey, and two technology offices, in Los Angeles and Provo, Utah.
