The FAUCHON L’Hôtel Riyadh is in partnership with owner Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) and operator Yakoon Hospitality International.
FAUCHON Hospitality has signed up a third property, and this one is located at the Diriyah Development in Riyadh and will feature 80 guest rooms and suites, a café, spa, rooftop pool and bar, and a retail boutique. When complete, the Diriyah Development will comprise 16 five-star luxury hotel brands.
Jacques-Olivier Chauvin, President and CEO of FAUCHON Hospitality, said: “We are proud to partner with DGDA and Yakoon Hospitality. This new development is yet another step to becoming a major player in the boutique luxury hospitality industry. Signing our first hotel in the Middle East and becoming a part of this monumental development is a truly exciting achievement as a strategic part of our ongoing growth.”
Jerry Inzerello, CEO at DGDA, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming FAUCHON to Diriyah. The property will bring a unique concept to Saudi being their first property in the GCC. The breaking of bread has been an ancient tradition across the regions for centuries and the offering at the hotel’s Grand Café will complement our elevated dining experiences at Buijari Terrace. We are excited to share further developments on this property in the coming months.”
Olivier Harnisch, CEO at Yakoon Hospitality, said: “We are delighted to partner with FAUCHON and DGDA to bring the third branded hotel worldwide to Saudi Arabia. As the management company of the hotel, Yakoon Hospitality will create a unique destination based on the legendary legacy of FAUCHON.”
