The hotel will be the second location for FAUCHON Hospitality, which debuted its first hotel in Paris in September 2018.
The five-star FAUCHON Hotel Kyoto will open in the centre of Kyoto in the Shimogyo-Ku district. Benefitting from a key location, the hotel sits just minutes away from some of the city’s most interesting districts including Gion, Higashiyama and Kawaramachi-Shijo.
The hotel is set to feature 70 guest rooms and suites alongside the FAUCHON Bakery, which will be located on the street level. The top floor meanwhile will feature The Grand Café FAUCHON, which boasts a stunning view of Kyoto and the surrounding mountains.
The hotel will also feature Le Spa Fauchon – the world’s first spa named after Fauchon – which will be the best spa by Japanese and Parisian beauty specialists. Le Spa Fauchon offers a wide range of body, facial and scrub treatments with voluptuous fragrances and rich textures.
