Accor has announced that the first Fairmont branded hotel in Vietnam will open in the capital city of Hanoi.
The Fairmont Hanoi is a 241-room luxury hotel slated to open in 2024 and situated in the city centre, adjacent to Ly Thai To and Tran Nguyen Han streets. One of the world’s most celebrated luxury hotel brands, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts was founded in 1907 in San Francisco and since then, has become synonymous with landmark locations worldwide.
Their latest addition to the portfolio in Vietnam has been designed by renowned Perkins Eastman and Aston Design. Both the architecture and interior design of the hotel is the result of extensive research into the culture and history of Thang Long, taking inspiration from the art of lacquer with the traditional colours of Vietnam, the Indochinese style from the French colonial period, and motifs from Vietnam’s dynasties.
The hotel will allow guests to discover an urban resort with a ride range of offerings such as six dining and bar venues including a rooftop restaurant; two indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an extensive gym area, wellness spa and bathhouse.
