The group has acquired the Robin Retail Park in Wigan, completing the transaction in just nine working days from instructing lawyers.
The move comes as the group continues to commit in ‘investing and elevating bricks-and-mortar retail.’ The group said that it sees opportunities for buying retail assets and utilising their retail concepts to elevate the schemes. The group also comments that they see this as a stepping stone to further property acquisitions throughout 2021 within the UK and Ireland.
Frasers Group Head of Elevation, Michael Murray, commented: “We plan to transform this retail park into a modern, aspirational shopping destination for the local area. We are excited to bring our new elevated retail concepts to Wigan and breathe new life into the area.”
