The flagship, which is located in Xintiandi is the brands fifth location in Shanghai.
Occupying two storeys in Xintiandi, an upscale retail, office and residential district, the new Fred Perry store boasts an interior design that is both contemporary and functional whilst also staying true to the brand’s retro style that conforms to urban youth culture.
The ground floor houses a dedicated selection of Polo Shirts – Fred Perry’s signature garment – and the brand’s seasonal offerings. After travelling up the steel staircase, which features LED screens that show a rotation of brand footings, shoppers will be greeted by a selection of women’s items and other additional items.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, a collection of in-store exclusive items will be available as well as a photography exhibition. The flagship shows the work of eight young Shanghai-based influencers through their exhibition called Natural Storm – Adopted, Never Forced.
