UAE-based retail conglomerate Gulf Marketing Group (GMG0 is set to roll out 100 stores in Southeast Asia by 2025.
This strategy has the goal of further strengthening its presence in the region after more than two years in the market and has also launched a 28,000sq ft headquarters in Malaysia to run its regional operations.
“We have taken a step forward to establish our new Asian headquarters in Malaysia, enabling GMG to capitalise on the burgeoning sports retail industry in Asia,” said Mohammad Baker, Deputy Chairman and CEO of GMG. “We have designed an aggressive roadmap for our brands in this region, and this move will also allow us to serve our Southeast Asian customers better, closer to home.”
