This is the fashion house’s third store in Australia, and its second in Melbourne.
The new flagship, which is located on Collins Street in Melbourne, follows the brands launches in Chadstone Shopping Centre last year and Westfield Sydney in 2019. As with all other Golden Goose stores, this new location fits in with the brand’s ethos of providing ‘innovative but artisan-spirited products, a low-key communication strategy, and a highly selective placement in venues that share the brand’s philosophy.’
The Venetian fashion house also operates flagship stores in New York, London, Munich, Milan, Paris, Los Angeles, Seoul, Amsterdam, and more, while also operating within a number of fashion destinations such as Nordstrom, Galeries Lafayette and Net a Porter.
Launched by Alessandro Gallo an Francesca Rinaldo, Golden Goose sells handmade distressed sneakers. Each shoe is handmade, manually processed and constructed by the artisans of Golden Goose, their ‘sneaker maker’.
