Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre is set to welcome the Italian luxury brand, which is particularly known for its iconic trainers.
Golden Goose was founded in Venice, Italy in 2000 by Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo. The brand now operates around 95 stores in major markets, with 17 of these being in the US. The new Yorkdale store occupies an area of 1600sq ft and will house the brand’s full range of fashion for men, women and children including ready-to-wear clothing, sneakers and accessories.
Before the opening of this new store, Golden Goose footwear has been available through various retailers including Hudson’s Bay, Holt Renfrew and Nordstrom. Now, the brand intends to open more Golden Goose stores across Canada, opening mall-based stores in markets such as Edmonton, Montreal and Calgary.
