Gorzów Wielkopolski to Change Hands

Equilis and Acteeum have sold the Silwana retail park in Gorzów Wielkopolski to Big Polska. The asset was sold for €40M, which makes it one of the highest transactions in the Polish commercial property market this year.

The retail park in Gorzów Wielkopolski, which is being built by Equilis and Acteeum Group, will be renamed Big Gorzów. It will join Big Polska’s portfolio as its fifth investment after projects in Łubna near Warsaw, Lubin, Andrychów and Ostróda.

The retail park is located on an 8ha plot and has 25,000sq m GLA of space. It will house 40 shops and retail outlets. The park’s tenants will include brands new to Gorzów, such as Decathlon, Jula and Half Price. A car park with 800 spaces is also included in the project. The opening of the Big Gorzów retail park is scheduled for 22 August.

“Our activity on the Polish market, where we have built a portfolio of five excellently located investments in less than two years, consolidates our position in the retail park sector in Poland,” said Eran Levy, CEO of Big Polska. “The sale of the park before its opening is a very significant achievement for Equilis. We are also dealing with the first sale from the Duodev 2 fund’s portfolio of assets since its creation in 2022,” commented Olivier Beguin, CEO of Equilis Europe.

The objective of Duodev 2 is to invest in European real estate projects developed by Equilis. “We will continue our growth strategy in Poland in the retail and residential segments. After Galeria Chełm and Galeria Andrychów, this is the third retail park developed by Equilis in partnership with Acteeum,” says Olivier Beguin, CEO of Equilis Europe.
