The shopping and entertainment centre boasts a total area of more than 150,000sq m and is located in Chechen Republic in Russia.
The shopping mall is complete with department stores for clothing, children’s and sporting goods, stores of household appliances and electronics, household goods, and a grocery supermarket. Ninety per cent of the mall’s tenants are presenting their goods in the region for the first time or via flagship formats.
The mall itself will be connected by a pedestrian gallery bridge to the Akhmat Tower 435m skyscraper which will house offices, a five star hotel, apartments and residences as well as a spa complex and Europe’s highest observation deck.
The visual concept of the mall was envisioned by Chapman Taylor and an innovative element of the centre is the roof, which has been made in the form of a ‘fifth façade’ and is visible from the bank of the Sunzha River, as well as from the height of the future skyscraper.
