The new 506sq m store is located at P.C. Hooftstraat, Amsterdam’s Golden Mile of luxury shopping.
With a retail design that has been closely co-ordinated by Alessandro Michele, the house’s Creative Director, the new Gucci location exudes luxury. Designed to appear like a private apartment, the boutique is finished with a number of plush an eclectic pieces and settings such as wood flooring, boldly striking hand-painted graphic motifs, moulded wall panels and classic furnishings which are all in sync with the brand’s overall aesthetic.
The store offers shoppers a selection of seating where they are able to rest between shopping sprees. Vintage rugs are layered over one another to create a maximised textured effect and the overall retro chic design is perfectly in vision with Michele’s vision.
The new Gucci store houses women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, bag, shoes, cosmetics and the full Doraemon x Gucci collection which is particularly popular with the brand’s millennial fan base.
