The leading Asian supermarket chain in the US will bring its food hall concept to the massive entertainment and retail complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with an opening slated for later this spring.
At 16,860sq ft, it will be H Mart’s largest food hall in the Northeast. Founded in 1982 with a single store in Woodside, Queens (New York City), H Mart currently operates more than 100 stores across 18 states. Stores within the estate offer a full line of Asian foods as well as a broad range of Western groceries.
“We are thrilled to introduce our latest food hall at American Dream,” said Stacey Kwon, President of H Mart. “Our food halls are iconic staples of H Mart stores and our American Dream location wouldn’t feel complete without one.”
The H Mart food hall at American Dream will feature a collection of Asian fast-casual favourites set in a modern-looking space. It will offer 11 unique dining options, with offerings that range from Dim Sum and noodles to artisan baked goods and bubble tea.
