Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has opened the boutique in the airport’s luxury brand boulevard.
The new store houses a selection of the brand’s best-selling items including the Pouch L19 bag, the Summer Walk, the Summer Charm and Open Walk shoes. The store is also home to a one-of-a-kind collection, The Gift of Kings, which is made from a rare and precious wool. Travellers can also purchase items from the brand’s Storm System Collection, which has a number of pieces perfect for winter holidays.
Fabio d’Angelantonio, Loro Piana, Chief Executive Officer added: “We are thrilled to reinforce the presence of Loro Piana within the region with the addition of the Hamad International Airport store.This new opening, the first boutique in Qatar, is in fact a consequence of the brand’s growing attention towards the Middle East. Our Qatari customers are long-time, loyal and refined admirers of the brand: Loro Piana is delighted to finally open a store in this country.”
The store opening was attended by a number of VIP guests including Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Akbar Al Baker; Hamad International Airport Chief Operating Officer, Engr. Badr Al Meer; and Qatar Duty Free Vice President Operations, Thabet Musleh.
