The Harkins Theatres announced it will reopen to guests from August 28.
Like many other movie theatres in the US, Harkins has been closed since mid-March when the global pandemic took a hold of the world. The reopening of the theatres coincides with a number of highly anticipated blockbuster films being released including Marvel’s The New Mutants, Unhinged with Russell Crow and Tenet.
Harkins Theatres are strictly adhering to safety protocols which will include face coverings required for the Harkins team and for guests, staggering film start times to allow a limited amount of guests waiting and limited seats at each movie showing.
“There is no question that this has been the most difficult time in my 50 plus years in the business. I am so excited and so appreciative of our incredible team and tremendously loyal guests that have continued to support us through this challenging time.” said Dan Harkins, owner of Harkins Theatres.
