Strategic retail property consultancy Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), part of U.S.-based Newmark, has announced a transaction to open Ron Dorff’s U.S. flagship store in New York City.
Men’s athleisure brand, Ron Dorff has quickly become a leading name in the rapidly expanding ‘luxe sportswear’ market, with ranges across clothing, underwear, swimwear and accessories. With six stores across Europe in Paris, London and Berlin, Ron Dorff’s New York store is located at 475 Broome Street in Lower Manhattan, and is the brand’s flagship store in the U.S.
The new store is split across two floors – street level and basement – boasting a combined 4,565sq ft of retail space. The store opened in September of 2021.
Hannah Mahoney, Director at Harper Dennis Hobbs, said: “Harper Dennis Hobbs has acted as sole retail advisors to Claus Lindorff, founder and CEO of Ron Dorff, since the first store opening in London in 2016. When it came to North America, with the U.S. being their biggest online market at 35% of global sales, and New York representing 12.5 per cent on its own, it was clear to the team that we should launch their flagship store in New York.”
