Harrods to open outlet store at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush

Harrods are opening an outlet store at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush in July, the luxury department store is aiming to shift excess stock from this season that has been unsold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new outlet store will span over two floors and stock a selection of items from beauty, fashion and accessories. These will be selected from the Harrods Sale, which will also be hosted more widely online on www.harrods.com.

“The concept store has been designed to support higher levels of social distancing by allowing more space for customers, enabling a wider product selection of new-season product in the Knightsbridge store, as well as supporting the business in retailing existing stock in a responsible and sustainable way.” – Harrods said in a statement.

The Knightsbridge store will reopen on 15 June, in line with government guidance and feature footfall monitoring technology to help social distancing measure requirements be met, the store will also see an enhanced cleaning programme introduced.
