Harvey Nichols Launches Luxury Resale Service

The iconic British luxury department store has partnered with Reflaunt to launch a luxury resale service.

The service, called Reflaunt Resell Service, will launch on August 26 and will allow customers to resell bags and other luxury pieces, including fashion, accessories and watches. Sellers will then earn as much as 80 per cent back of the original piece when the items are resold on the online service via the department store’s website. This will come in form of a direct bank transfer or Harvey Nichols vouchers.

Items for resale can be dropped off at Harvey Nichols stores in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh or Leeds. Reflaunt’s concierge service will then pick up the goods.

Harvey Nichols Chief Executive Manju Malhotra said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Reflaunt, to offer our customers a circular model of consumption and ensure luxury fashion items are given the longer lifespan that they deserve.

“This innovative service provides customers with an effortless way to part with their pre-loved items and in rehoming them with a new owner, not only earns them Harvey Nichols vouchers, but closes the fashion circle.”
