The move comes as the brand looks to respond to Brits working from home who are now more likely to purchase casualwear.
Hawes & Curtis is recognised for its formalwear; however as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to impact everyday life, the brand has pivoted their focus and launched a loungewear collection which consists of hooded sweatshirts, crewneck sweatshirts, sweatpants and t-shirts all made from super-soft organic cotton fabric.
Touker Suleyman, Hawes & Curtis, Chief Executive and Owner, commented: “During this difficult time, we listened to our customers. We know how important it is to be adaptable and to understand the changing needs of our customers. Made from environmentally-friendly organic cotton, our loungewear collection offers great design, great quality and great value.”
Although the brand has pivoted towards casualwear as a result of the pandemic, Suleyman remains confident that post-Covid most people will be looking to refresh their look and formal shirts will make a comeback.
