Hermès Launches India Beauty Line

The brand has brought its selection of colour cosmetics and skin products to the country and aims to cater to international tastes.

“While Hermès is a French house, it caters to an international clientele,” Hermès Beauty’s Creative Director Gregoris Pyrpylis told Vogua India on the occasion of the India launch. “My goal is to reply to the demands of every man and woman out there. There is a spirit or excellence, I would say, of French people and French houses put into the work to create the beautiful objects and collections. But other than that, I want every woman in every corner of the world to take ownership of our objects and make them part of their everyday beauty ritual.”

Hermès first launched its beauty line in 2020, creating a range of products inspired by its classic handbags and scarves. The brand retails a range of lipsticks, nail polishes, a range of ‘complexion balms’ for both men and women and bronzers among others. Products come in refillable cases which feature a clean, classic aesthetic.
