The newly refurbished store has recently reopened to customers and strengthens the brands long-standing ties with Lyon, the city of silk.
The transformed store occupies 313sq m and like the brand’s other stores around the world, combines the architectural characteristic of the original Faubourg Saint-Honoré store with unique features of the city of Lyon. Parisian architecture agency RDAI, have paid tribute to the relationship that Hermès has cultivated with the silk district in Lyon since 1948.
Upon entering the store, visitors will discover the rich and colour universe of fashion jewellery and women’s silks. Further along, the new Hermès Beauty metier sits alongside the perfumes and local customers can discover the unique elegant shades of the Rouge Hermès lipstick collection.
The heart of the store houses the brands emblematic objects – bags, luggage and equestrian goods, which have been crafted from the finest leathers. Whilst to the right of the entrance, customers will find tableware, art de vivre and furniture. More than 50 objects from the Émile Hèrmes collections and the Hermès collection of contemporary photographs are on display in the store.
