Formerly the Dorsett City London, the hotel has undergone a rebrand and has relaunched as the independent property Hotel Saint in Aldgate.
Owned and managed by Highgate, the 14-floor hotel has been redesigned by Thunkgood. It offers 267 guest rooms and suites, a 60-seat all-day dining restaurant and outdoor terrace, a rooftop bar, a gym, and four meeting rooms. Shoreditch-based interior firm Child Studio has overseen the renovation of the lobby.
Many of the guest rooms provide views across the Square Mile, Tower Bridge, or St. Botolph’s Church. Every room comes with one king or two twin beds, work space, a 42” LCD TV, complimentary water, tea and coffee, a fridge, hairdryer, and an iron with an ironing board. Bathroom amenities are supplied by sustainable brand Land & Water.
The Jin Bo Law Skyboar is located on the fourteenth floor whilst the VQ all-day dining restaurant and bar can be accessed on the ground floor.
Arash Azarbarzin, CEO of Highgate said: “We’re delighted to launch Hotel Saint and welcome guests and locals to a next-generation hotel in an ancient neighbourhood. Guests want to feel part of a genuine, local London experience when in the capital, and Hotel Saint offers the best of London’s culture and creativity, whether staying with us for business or pleasure – or both.”
