Hugo Boss extends reach across Asia

World-renowned fashion label Hugo Boss is expanding its online market reach across Asia-Pacific.

The German-based brand has increased its e-commerce profile by adding 22 more countries to its portfolio. The new countries include Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore along with additional markets in Europe. Any customer from these added countries can access the latest collections by Hugo Boss from the comfort of their own home and have products shipped directly to them.

“The importance of digital distribution channels for the global apparel industry is growing rapidly,” said Mark Langer, Chairman of the company’s managing board. “The coronavirus crisis has further accelerated this trend. We are therefore rolling out our online store in additional countries as quickly as possible and … systematically pushing ahead with the digitisation of our business model.” The label plans to add even more countries to this list later in the year, namely India, Mexico and Canada as well target the European and Asia-Pacific markets for growth via concession stores in the coming years.
