The company has opened a new store in Singapore, marking the British footwear brand’s retail debut in Southeast Asia.
Located inside Plaza Singapura, the new Hunter Boots Singapore spans 126sq m with the design inspired by the London-based brand’s botanic, natural and outdoor heritage and the lifestyle of Singaporeans, according to Authentic Brands Group, which acquired Hunter Boots, in June 2023.
The store opening also coincides with Hunter Boots’ official website launch for Singapore and Malaysia, in partnership with Baozun. The e-commerce service, brand management and digital commerce service company took a 51 per cent equity interest in Hunter in Greater China and Southeast Asia last August.
“By partnering with Baozun, a leader in digital and e-commerce experiences in China and Southeast Asia, we are able to combine our expertise in brand management with their deep understanding of the local market nuances and cultural trends,” said Jamie Salter, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Authentic Brands, at the time of the sale.
Hunter, with its 160-year heritage, is known for its boots worn by the affluent in town, in the country and especially at festivals.
