The new pop-up location is expected to be a key point of contact for the brand within the city of Valencia.
The El Saler Shopping Center, which is owned by Merlin Properties, will reopen on Friday 19 February following a period of restoration and modernisation of the spaces. The process has received an investment of Є25M to make the centre more open, bright and now features numerous green areas with natural plants.
The pop-up occupies a space of more than 300sq m and offers customers a space that is complete with items from categories including kitchenware, textiles and decorations, organisation, storage, lighting and children’s play. The pop-up will also feature a selection of food products from Ikea food.
Luis Lázaro, Director of Retail and Logistics at Merlin Properties, commented: “The arrival of Ikea fits perfectly with the strategic plan initiated by Merlin Properties as well as with the repositioning of the center as a family and urban concept to offer its clients the best experience through the incorporation of leading brands in their respective segments: fashion, catering or, as in this case, home and decoration.”
