Inditex will expand its presence in the Logistics Platform of Zaragoza (Plaza) with the opening of a third Zara Woman store, a complex of 60,445sq m that will start operations at the beginning of 2024.
The current owner of the plot, of 100,000sq m,
will invest 15 million euros in the construction, tailored to Inditex, of this
complex, according to the newspaper Heraldo de Aragón.
The new warehouse, which will serve to logistically accompany Zara’s women’s
line in its international development, will be located near the main facilities
of the Galician group in Plaza (where it has been operating for two decades)
and its robotic silo for hanging garments. This last warehouse is under
construction and is expected to come into operation from next year.
This third logistics centre will also have an office space of 1,550sq m and will dedicate about 1,000m to technical rooms and other uses. The construction process, which will generate several hundred jobs, will take a year, so the complex is expected to be operational within a year and a half.
