Ingka Centres will invest 170 million euros to expand the Kungens Kurva mall in Stockholm. The project will give the mall an additional 28,000 square meters of retail space – shopping, leisure and beauty. In addition, a common entrance will integrate IKEA with the mall. Ingka promises to open the Matvärlden grocery store at Kungens Kurva in the fourth quarter of 2024 – this will be the first phase of the mall’s renovation. The entire project will run for ten years – the renovation will take place in several stages and be completed in 2033.
