The retro clothing brand Brutus Gold Boutique has unveiled plans to extend its reach in the UK, Europe and Australia through expansion in the wholesale sector.
Founded by Rocco Violetta, son of the 1970’s disco performer Brutus Gold, just before the coronavirus pandemic hit UK shores last year, the company specialises in ethically produced clothing that features art and cultural references from the ’70s.
Through expansion in the wholesale sector, the company is aiming to be stocked by fifty independent retailers in the UK, Europe and Australia by the end of the year. Brutus Gold said this will boost its sales by 80 per cent by the end of 2022. With several new clothing collections in the pipeline, the brand is set to launch two new production facilities in Australia and Italy this July to keep up with demand.
Violetta added: “We put a huge amount of effort into the development stages of our garments, ensuring that we sourced from the correct suppliers and testing the products repeatedly. It has been very hard work but very rewarding, too. From the outset it always felt good to us and the brand immediately struck a chord with like-minded customers worldwide.”
