Istituto Marangoni Opens Dubai School

In a continuation of its international expansion, Istituto Marangoni is opening a new fashion school in Dubai.

The project is expected to materialise in October 2022 with the inauguration of the new building, which is to be self-financed and self-managed, in Dubai, a market considered strategic for its fashion and luxury offerings.

The school itself will set up in the financial district Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The location will offer training in fashion and design over the next three years, as well as a 12 month master’s degree. These diplomas will be validated by the emirate’s Ministry of Education and 70 per cent of the teachers will come from Italy with others being recruited locally.

“A market study made us understand that there was room for an institute like ours. There is no structured school in the region with such an offer articulated around the disciplines of fashion, art and interior design. This is an opportunity to set foot in the Middle East, where we can surf on our reputation which is very strong there, even if we were not present in the territory,” said Istituto Marangoni Managing Director, Stefania Valenti.
