Jack in the Box Inc. is modernising all their Jack in the Box and Del Taco restaurants with cloud-based omni-channel capabilities.
The quick service restaurant retailer is deploying the Qu cloud-based unified commerce platform to enable digital solutions and offerings in its stores. These will include Qu’s integrated kitchen display system, which Jack in the Box plans to use to increase speed, throughput and order accuracy across channels.
Franchisees will have access to Notify, Qu’s real-time mobile reporting app which surfaces sales, labour, product and store-level data for managers using AI and machine-learning. The predictive analytics and forecasting capabilities of Notify are designed to help franchisees more efficiently manage their operations and labour based on demand peaks and valleys.
“We’re building for growth,” said Doug Cook, Senior VP and CTO of Jack in the Box. “Investing in this technology is key to our expansion strategy, increasing connections across ordering channels, geographies and brands. Our partnership with Qu is the technology foundation we needed to deliver on our digital channel goals, drive automation and increase efficiency. I can’t think of anything we want to do in the next five years that doesn’t revolve around this platform.”
