The company is planning to expand its footprint in two of Florida’s major cities with the launch of 15 new locations.
The quick-serve chain has announced a five-unit franchise commitment in Tallahassee and additional 10-unit agreement for Orlando, which comes just months after Jack in the Box announced a previous 10-unit franchise deal in the theme park hub. Specific locations for each restaurant have not been identified yet.
“Expanding into Florida, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing states, aligns perfectly with our strategic plan for the Southeast,” said Tim Linderman, Chief Development Officer at Jack in the Box. “We’re thrilled to bring our iconic brand to Tallahassee, our next new market and further develop our presence in Orlando.”
Jack in the Box said of the more than 400 new franchise commitments secured in the last three years, nearly ten per cent are slated for Florida. Other recent openings and development agreements for the chain include areas throughout Utah, Kentucky, Arkansas, Montana and Wyoming. In 2023, Jack in the Box signed 123 new restaurant agreements.
