The opening of the three new stores will see the British sportswear chains Madrid portfolio increase to 12 locations.
The first of the three stores opened at the La Vaguada shopping centre on March 20. The store occupies an area of 340sq m and created 23 jobs roles. The month of April will see two new JD Sports stores open. One, located in the Parque Corredor complex – Torrejón de Ardoz – occupies 566sq m and will employ 29 workers. Meanwhile, another store located in Centro Oeste (Majadahonda) will add 332sq m of surface and will create a further 23 job roles.
These three openings brings JD Sports points of sales in Madrid to 12 and also advances the brand’s expansion plans for the Spanish market, which will see JD Sports open 15 stores over the year.
