Changi Airport’s nature-themed retail, entertainment and relaxation complex has extended its offering to keep visitors engaged with the destination amid the Coronavirus.
In a time where travel has all but come to a halt, Jewel Changi Airport has extended their offerings to encapsulate innovative staycations and food and beverage deals. The concept – ‘Glampcations in the Clouds’ offers guests the opportunity to stay overnight in a large tent that have been set up amid a number of ficus trees that are adorned with fairy lights. There are a number of other attractions including a large sky net, a hedge maze and topiary walks.
The airport has always intended to be more than just a transportation hub. The addition of Jewel Changi Airport – the ten-storey expansion focuses on providing a new, exciting and innovative element to travel. This latest addition of Glampcations in the Clouds just does that.
“Our objective was to strengthen Changi Airport’s global competitiveness. And at the same time capture tourism mindshare. To do so, we needed to create something unique, push boundaries, and deliver a game-changer,” commented Chief Executive Officer of Jewel Changi Airport, Jean Hung.
