The designer brand has launched a 90sq m store, located in London’s Harrods store.
Jil Sander founded her eponymous brand in 1968 however it wasn’t taken public until 1989. Since then the brand has become well-known for its luxurious collections and pieces that celebrate minimalism. Now owned by Onward Holding, a Japanese multi-brand fashion conglomerate, the new store within a store has been developed in partnership with British architect John Pawson and reflects the simplicity that the brand has come to be loved for.
Timber walls coupled with a bright-toned cement floor provide the perfect backdrop for the brand’s collections to be displayed. The space also appears to be larger than it is with the help of two mirrors that reflect the light.
Guests will be able to shop the latest women’s clothing and accessories collections.
