John Lewis Launches New Own-Brand Label

The new label ‘John Lewis & Partners’ will comprise of 300 designs created by their in-house design studio team.

The first collection offers bold colourful pieces reflective of the autumn season and will be available in all John Lewis department stores and its online shopping platform from September.

The launch of John Lewis & Partners is an important step in the company’s ambition to grow its own brand business. The brand has recruited 50 per cent more designers and 70 per cent more technologists in its largest ever investment in product development roles.

Commenting on the new collection, Christine Kasoulis, Fashion Buying Director at John Lewis commented: “This launch is our most significant investment in fashion to date and builds on the successful launches of our stand-alone brands Kin, And/Or and modern activity.”
